ThermHex produces thermoplastic honeycomb cores for lightweight and high-quality sandwich panels. Our honeycomb cores enable significant weight and material cost savings and maximum conservation of resources due to the minimal use of materials, thus supporting the particularly economical production of sandwich elements. Honeycomb panels in sandwich construction are used wherever high-quality products with an optimum strength-to-weight ratio are required. Depending on the intended use, the extremely lightweight honeycomb cores can be combined with various cover layers (plastic, steel, aluminum, paper, wood, natural or fiberglass composite materials) and form the middle layer of lightweight yet extremely rigid sandwich panels. Honeycomb cores are available in various cell widths, thicknesses and densities as well as with a standard dimension of 1200x2500mm.
